Caren is a strategic communications and public affairs specialist who leads national, fully integrated advocacy and brand campaigns across the tech, energy, manufacturing, consumer products and healthcare sectors.
A veteran of both Capitol Hill and the executive branch, Caren has advised CEOs, members of Congress, government officials and foreign leaders on communications strategy and reputational challenges. She has worked for U.S. Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) and U.S. Representative Henry A. Waxman (D-CA) on both the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. Caren also served as Press Secretary of the U.S. General Services Administration during the Obama administration.
Caren leads LEWIS’ D.C. office, which specializes in PR, social media, issue advocacy, crisis communications and research & analytics.
